A tragic story of a young man who, in April of 1992, hitchhiked to Alaska and into the wilderness north of Mt. McKinley. An idealistic dream? A bad attitude? I think you would have to had to have known him personally to make an accurate assessment of what he was contemplating. To me, this was a most sad and disturbing story. Defiantly food for thought: not necessarily an appropriate read for the holidays.
